Sail on summers breeze,
Pull the words from beneath my feet.
Follow my soul to spring and back.
Sleep now, the morning awaits you in the dark.
Quench the fear that rages in my heart.
Before winter's dying breath,
Let me confess to the serpent, swallowing itself;
You and I are the same
In the sense of constant re-creation.
The calm that once permeated the air of this place,
I feel it, pulling me further and further away,
Back into the fold.
Familiar cadence sweeps the air.
Shape of duality, a struggle in unison.
A somber scene, for you and me.
Past, stay past.
A lament, for what I am becoming now.
Orphic.
I tried, I tried, and I tried.
I tried, I tried, and I cried.
When the rain it washed,
Stay...
When the rain it washed,
Please stay in the past.
But we can fly anywhere on earth,
Leaving our homes painfully vacant.
Sleep now, the morning awaits you in the dark.
Quench the fear that rages in my heart.
Before winter's dying breath,
Let me confess to the serpent, swallowing itself.
Hope to change, but it never does.
I once more feel,
I feel seasons change coming upon me.

Epic black metal from New Zealand. I have listened to this many times indeed! If it was vinyl, it would be near to wearing out & starting to sound crackly! The contrasts of the vocals in the singing are amazing. Every song is fantastic so I simply cannot choose a favourite... :) It is shame that Chloe Bray left the band but I am warming to her replacement & hope to hear a new full album soon! Very highly recommended!!! bmurator

A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan
