I am buried beneath the layers of stone.
The curse that befell my land, it was love;
Ravager of Kingdoms - Releaser of change.
A shift on the forest's horizon,
A passerby drifting through the storm
That courses through the veins of Gods.
Eyes that fall,
Drops ascend to the heavens;
Self-imposed exile towering.
Left with crumbles and dirt,
And the innocence of the child within,
Wailing.
The curse,
It's reaching towards the end.
So how does the rain feel on your skin?
The chime's picking up the wind.
It is here.
Enthralled by the skyfall,
It is here, and then it slips away.
Just like you...
Serenity spilled from the heavens,
Revel and collect teardrops in my hands.
Oh, Mother Earth
Why won't you love me back?
Out of fingers, unto the ground.
Enthralled by the skyfall,
It is here, and then it slips away.
Just like you.
See the world through a prism
Of misplaced affection.
Open your eyes to a world unseen;
Through the prism of misplaced affection.
The calm of the storm slowly seeping back into my veins.
Epic black metal from New Zealand. I have listened to this many times indeed! If it was vinyl, it would be near to wearing out & starting to sound crackly! The contrasts of the vocals in the singing are amazing. Every song is fantastic so I simply cannot choose a favourite... :) It is shame that Chloe Bray left the band but I am warming to her replacement & hope to hear a new full album soon! Very highly recommended!!! bmurator
A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan
